Colombia Solidarity and its hours

Colombia Solidarity connects Colombia, Nuevo León, with the Laredo area. CBP identifies the crossing as 230403 and lists its hours as 8 a.m. to midnight. Check the current notice before setting out, especially near closing time.

The Laredo area has several international bridges. Choose Colombia Solidarity when checking the route and wait: Bridge I and Bridge II have their own reports and their queues should not be treated as this bridge’s queue.

Passenger vehicles and commercial traffic

CBP separates passenger and commercial vehicles. The passenger report includes general, Ready and SENTRI categories, while the commercial report includes standard and FAST. Check the status and update time of the category that applies to your vehicle. A closed or pending lane is not a zero-minute wait.

For commercial traffic, CBP identifies the exit of the toll booth in Mexico as the start of its measured interval. A queue before that point is not necessarily represented by the reported figure. The estimate describes northbound entry into the United States, not the southbound trip.

Choose a lane you qualify for

Ready Lane requires eligible RFID travel cards. Each vehicle occupant age 16 or older must carry an eligible card; a passport book alone is not one of those cards. SENTRI is a trusted traveler program that requires prior approval.

A shorter displayed wait does not grant access to a restricted lane. Follow signs and officers, and check each lane’s current status. The overall crossing schedule does not guarantee that every lane is open throughout the day.

Documents and driving in Mexico

Review CBP’s land-entry document guidance for every traveler’s citizenship and status. For U.S. citizens, accepted options include a valid U.S. passport or passport card. Keep the applicable documents accessible for inspection when returning to the United States.

If driving in Mexico, arrange liability coverage valid there. Federal-road rules require insurance for harm to third parties. Review the policy’s coverage and exclusions and check the insurer’s authorization before buying.

Before you depart

Confirm the bridge name, current schedule, vehicle category and latest update before you leave. Conditions may change between the reading and your arrival, so allow flexibility rather than treating the estimate as a promise.

CBP marks the pedestrian wait fields N/A at this crossing. This is a data status, not a zero-minute wait or proof of whether walking across is allowed.
